My Background

I have been an artist and painting professionally for 47 years! Most of that time in the Commercial Artist arena. I have a strong passion for painting wild animals in their natural habitat . You can find me almost daily in my studio. I dream and ponder about my paintings and work to constantly improve my God given talent. Cheers and I hope you enjoy my art work.

I paint in acrylic and oil. I also love to work in pastel, colored pencil and watercolor. I have completed work in all these mediums. My desire is to present wild animals, not only in their natural habitats, but by using vivid colors and creative backgrounds to enhance the animal's beauty and grace.

I love all of God's creatures and especially love to paint landscapes with wild life.

I love all of God's creatures and especially enjoy painting landscapes with wild life in very detailed form with sometimes very imaginative, loose backgrounds. I always welcome a challenge and enjoy to paint people's personal, beloved pets and have sold many commissioned works.
